The thesis topic is the U.S. interest Groups And Most-favored nation Status to China(1990-2000).In the preface, an introduction is made of the current situation of researches on the U.S. interest groups and Most-Favored-Nation treatment to China and significance of this thesis. In the turn of the century, a number of fine works on the U.S. interest groups how to influence Most-Favored-Nation treatment to China came out. An analysis has been made of the U.S. interest groups influencing Most-Favored-Nation treatment to China, thus revealing more clearly the U.S. interest groups' role in Sino-U.S relations, develping extensively diplomacy with the U.S. interest groups, so as to better develop Sino-U.S relations.The first part elaborates the background of the U.S. interest groups participated in the struggle of China's most-favored nation Status between 1990-2000. After "Agreement on Sino-U.S Trade Relations " went into effect in 1980, China and America accorded each other Most-Favored-Nation treatment. Although the question of China's most-favored nation status need to be proposed by president, considered by congress every year, it was passed smoothly each year in 1980s, the interest groups have no an opportunity to participate in. However, with the "6-4" events taking place in 1989 , the Eastern European drastic change, Soviet Union disintegrate, and the cold war, the interior argument about Most-Favored-Nation treatment to China has provided the opportuntity to interest groups, and the problem of Most-Favored-Nation treatment to China was also referred to the benefit of bunsiess groups and labor organizations,so American interest groups began to intervene in Most-Favored-Nation treatment to China in 1990s.The second part discusses the composing , movement and canvass of American interest groups approving of according Most-Favored-Nation treatment to China. The interest groups include the China exports with in the Chinese investment groups, imports from China with invests the processing groups in China, is engaged in the Chinese and American transit trade the American enterprise and so on.
