In order to push the research of this kind of character image in the novels of Ming and Qing Dynasty further ahead, this article sorts out the data about QinQiong before Ming and Qing Dynasty focusing on the evolution of the QinQiong image by utilizing synthesis, analysis, comparison, induction.First, this article has collected some data before Ming and Qing Dynasty concerning on Qin Qiong, such as new and old tang shu, some notes written by orthodox writers, dramas and telling-singing stories of the Yuan and Ming Dynasty period. All these are absorbed as the original data in portraying the image of QinQiong.Secondly, this article has made a deep research on these novels, which can be classified as historical romance, heroic legend, synthesizer and continuer. As the image is unfolded, the relating plots become more and more complicated indicating the tireless endeavors of the authors .Finally, this article studied the evolution of the image of QinQiong and found out that the physical features, martial arts and the traditional good qualities that the image carries on are constantly evolving in the novels of Ming and Qing Dynasty. The result of the evolution made him become a popular hero from a bravery general.
