Ballad is a folk song that tells a story, coming into being in the late middle agesand prevailing in Nordic low class people. In the late 18 century, ballads wereprosperous in Deutschland, which had a close relationship with German laggardsituation in politics, economy and culture.The Germany enlighteners thonght that ifthe Germany broke away from the laggard situation, they must rediscover their folkliterature because the folk liture, especially the ballad was the origin of the people'svitality and creativity. During the effort of generations of German enlighteners andlitterateurs, German literature made a tremendous achievement, simultaneously, pushGerman progress in politics and economy.In Feng Zhi's teenager, China was in the similar situation to the Germany inthe laye century, and Feng Zhi, like the German enlighteners believed that theliterature could save the coutry out of the hot water. He was elicited by theprosperity of Ballad in Germany, imitated the form of ballad to create four narrativepoems and acquired great achievements at the beginning of the New Peom.In form, Germany Ballads have neat shapes, harmonious rhythms and using thethird person to tell a whole story. Feng Zhi absorbed Ballads' many characteristicsand exercised in his narrative peoms. Throught the outside shapes, rhetoric and thethird person limited view, this paper tries to study how the ballad influenced FengZhi's narrative peoms and discover his peoms contribution in aesthetic value forChina Modern New Poems.In content, Germany Ballads influence Feng Zhi'snarrative poems in subject matter and theme. Through the Nature Image and DeathImage, this paper tried to discuss how the ballad influenced Feng Zhi's narrativepeoms in subject matter and theme.Through the meticulous comparison, from the form and content, andcombining the backgrounds of Feng Zhi's teenager, this paper discusses the value ofFeng Zhi's Narrative poems influencerd by Germany Ballads, and the cointributionfor China New Peoms.
