German Ballad Narrative Poem

Ballad is a folk song that tells a story, coming into being in the late middle agesand prevailing in Nordic low class people. In the late 18 century, ballads wereprosperous in Deutschland, which had a close relationship with German laggardsituation in politics, economy and culture.The Germany enlighteners thonght that ifthe Germany broke away from the laggard situation, they must rediscover their folkliterature because the folk liture, especially the ballad was the origin of the people'svitality and creativity.
