On The City In 17 Years The Rural Novels Writing

This thesis has chosen one peculiar perspective of city writing showing solicitude for the rural novels during 1949-1966's, basing itself on novels version studying and analyzing the mirror image and the form of city writing in rural novels during 1949-1966's as well as the significance of city writing.Literature imagination is just an understanding and explanation of our life. The rural novels during 1949-1966's embody out the writer's imagination of the city. From the aspect of the inner and outside environment of literature, this paper has analyzed the reason of city writing: on the one hand, the peasants, tremendously affected by great disparity difference between town and country under the two kinds of different economic systems in China, have the aspiration for city; on the other hand, the industrialization of the country is becoming an important literature subject as the rural subject in this period. Although a few writers return to rural areas again, they are also showing solicitude for a city while writing rural area.The mirror image of city writing in rural novels during 1949-1966's includes the carding and analysis of such contents as follows: construction of city industrialization, the peasants' longing for a city, the peasants' yearning for city life, the transforming of rural area marriage liberty, and so on. In the form of city writing in rural novels during 1949-1966's, because of the political context restricting, the writers had to serve for politics in spite of his own inward needs; in the despising and discarding of city life, the writers manifest out one kind of unwillingness and inward vivid aspiration; in criticizing commodity economy, the writers appear one kind of commercial consciousness being accompanied by the modernization and urbanization; in criticism of material matter from the conflict between private ownership mentality and collectivization, the writers reveal one kind of poor material of relative city country imagination.Meanwhile, the significance of rural novels during 1949-1966's on the history of modern novels is embodied mainly in the following aspects: giving a deeper insights into many important sides of city life and the track of city development; opening up an exhibition of the contents and perspectives of rural novels together with a new academic space for rural novels; in city writing, the writer has revealed inward vivid experience, expressed his delicate will; also, we can experience the connotation and hardship of city writing, which protrudes the main body spirit and manifests the writer's modern consciousness. Different visual angles will result in diverse findings. The study on city writing today lets us experience the readability of rural area novels during 1949-1966's.
