Western Guangdong Three Cantonese Hakka Dialect Vocabulary Of Econometric Research

Gaozhou (高州), Huazhou(化州) and Xinyi(信宜) are in west of GuangDong province.In this region, Cantonese and Hakka dialect distribute together, so they affect and diffuse eachother in the lexical system.In this paper, more than 900 words are collected to represent the Cantonese and Hakkadialect contact in the three sections. The research approach follow this way: Fist, thesimilarity and features of the two dialects qualitative are induced. Second, depending onstatistical software Spss, the quantitative way is applied, and the lexical affinity values ofCantonese and Hakka dialect in the three sections are presented. Basing on the qualitative andquantitative analysis, the paper research the Cantonese and Hakka dialect difference in thethree sections, and consider the dialect contact is connected with dialect environment, anddialect psychology.
