The article has three chapters. The first chapter tries to find out the aesthetic principles that applicable to both painting element and film language. Firstly, the author introduced the concept of art language and investigated the aesthetic principles applicable to both art language from human physiology and the music attribute of art. Then investigated the art classification, the characteristic of space art and space-time art, and the characteristic of painting element and film language. The author also investigated the connections and differences of painting and film from the angle of the characteristic of space art and space-time art. Then, she analyzed the characteristics of time duration from the angle in painting. At last, investigate the concept and content of painting element and film language. In that way, the author found out the aesthetic principles applicable to both painting element and film language in the side of space art and space-time art. The second chapter discusses concrete aesthetic principles applicable to both painting element and film language. The first section discusses the aesthetic principles applicable to both painting element and film language in the side of space art. She analyzed concrete the composition of a picture, color, texture both in painting and film. The second section discusses the aesthetic principles applicable to both painting element and film language in the side of space-time art. The author analyzed concretely on the delivery, color variety, density both in painting and film. Third chapter talked about the combination of painting and film from the Painting film and the Rotoscoping film to sum up the aesthetic principles applicable to both art forms finally.
