By collecting and analyzing the art history of Fenggangbai, we can come to the following conclusions when we did research and discussion on artistic achievement of Fenggangbai from a more objective perspective.As early as the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Western painting was quite popular in Guangdong Province, which provided Fenggangbai a good environment for studying oil painting.Mr Fenggangbai was one of the pioneers who went to Americas to study oil painting, He devoted to teaching, researching and creating the realist style of oil painting, and he made a certain contribution to the Chinese art education at the pioneering period.Early 20th century, the domestic situation of art is the combination of Referism and Nativism, which in line with people's aesthetic habits both in form and cotent. But the Times did not catch attention to Mr Feng's art because his realistic style was restricted to the oil painting study itself.So we should not judge Fenggangbai's art by history choose, we should stand at the oil painting itself to research the cause of the oil painting language, then provide the research and development of oil painting a reference.
