Women played a great role in the Resistance in occupied France. Women were a considerable presence in virtually all Resistance organizations. Because of the war and the accidently changes, French women joined in the Resistance.It is indispensable to France's Liberation.They displayed an astonishing of spirit and imagination. French women performed a profoundly important service that provided the base for the Resistance. Women were more adaptable to the clandestine life. French women's participation in the Resistance did a little to advance women's rights in post-war France. They were accorded the vote at the war's end. French women became conscious of the role that they could play in the outcome, participate more intensively in political life. However, it took very long before French politics reverted to its pre-war attitudes that excluded women.
