On The Cultural Significance Of The Western European Medieval Knight With Class Flag

The purpose of this paper is to study the effect that the "logo" on the the clothing of Western European medieval knights had on our culture.By listing and analyzing these logos we can determine what effect these have had on men's clothing today.The effect on our culture of these medieval logos has been largely ignored by the academic community. Therefore this paper will address that effect.This paper consists of four parts:1.) The social structure of medieval nobility, (Chapt. 1).2.) Classification of logos on clothing, jewelry and weapons, and the selection of armor and clothing.(Chapt.2).3.) Rational analysis of these logos ,their spiritual significance, and the cultural influences they had on Western European medieval society.(Chapt.3).4.) Cultural effects of these logos on the medieval knight's clothing:the positive influence of these logos on the evolution of the modern suit, how they served to enhance moral and "esprit de corps"; And the negetive influence of these logos on modern time. (Chapt.4).
