Lu Ling And Their Works, A Hero Complex

As one famous novelist in 1940s ,Luling, a main force writer in"July Group", once drew people's attention and formed a kind of unique artistic style. He offered a set of images with"spiritual enslavement injury"and"original power". He has his own unique style in explorating young people's mentality , especially in young intellectual who sought for personal liberation and nation's liberation. His unique style is that the describing core lies in the spiritual world of characters, such as The sons and Daughters of a Rich Man, Guo Su'e in Hunger, Burning Wasteland and so on. Yang Yi gave Luling a hat with " the inquirer of the mysterious soul ". Today when we recall the writer's exploration and revolutionary desire again we can not help moving.The paper wants to follow Luling's growing way before liberation or his creative way and to explain the works from three aspects ,these are the trauma and dream, to "heroes" , the stray description and pursue to tragedy. We can relive Luling's "hero complex" which formed on the way of his growth and explore his unique aesthetic characteristics in spiritual world and the significance in Chinese Contemporary Literature history.There are five parts in the paper , mainly divided into three chapters. Various parts of key elaboration contents are as follows:The introduction mainly pointed out the connotation of Luling's "hero complex" and its subjective conditions. His complex exploration to man's "humanity" and"brute", "delicate" and "doughty" is unique.PartⅠis divided into four sections. First I proverbs his growth mental journey and suffering from home and society. Then I analysis how his inner needs met with Hu Feng's sprits by chance .PartⅡis divided into three sections, explores the value of" heroes" impulse, original power from the bottom world, the selection of idealistic heroes. His "hero complex" is also an evolving process, beginning with strong"original power""humanity"which Luling prefferred to and fixing the form of idealestic hero . The multi-faceted, complicated heroic image of Luling is more real and true in the inner world.PartⅢis divided into three sections, mainly derssetes how Luling shape the hero characters from art aspect. He began with introversion and subjective perspective, mainly selected stray environment for his characters. He built his own heroic image with tragedy artistic pursuit and thus his "hero complex" accumulated in the images.The main conclusion of the previous three chapters summarize the content that: Luling's works have their unique significance in Chinese contemporary literature history, mainly manifested in excavation of"original powerful","spiritual enslavement injury"and investigation of intellectuals'mental course.
