He Andong War Period Music Research

This paper is the study of music compositions by Andong He in Anti-Japanese War.Andong He is one of the most important musicians in the twentieth century. As a music fan, he has tried hard to learn music since a young age. He has mastered the techniques to play violin and accumulated theoretic knowledge in music, which laid out the foundation for his music career. As a musician, he has composed nearly a hundred pieces of music of different subject. Those masterpieces with spirits of times and inspirations have made great contributions to Chinese revolutionary course and the development of music. As a violin player, he has obtained a great deal appraisals from listeners for his masterful techniques. As an early music educator in China, he bears bear hardship without complaint, and has devoted much in cultivating a lot of music talents.This paper composed by the Introduction, Conclusion plus most of the middle four chapters constitute a total of six. The analysis of music compositions by Andong He in Anti-Japanese War mainly concentrated in the second, third and four chapters. The first chapter introduces the life of Andong He. Chapter II focused on analyzing the Anti-Japanese songs and creative characteristics of this songs. Since"September 18th"Incident, he has immediately composed"Fenqi Jiuguo"(National Salvation ) and other 19 Anti-Japanese pieces of songs, which turned him as one of the earliest musicians who focused on Anti-Japanese and National Salvation. The creation and dissemination of these songs tremendously encouraged people to involve in anti-Japanese and national salvation wars, and contributed enormously to the emergence of revolutionary music and the development of the movement of singing for the resistance against Japan and National Salvation. Chapter III is the analysis of his art songs and violin music. His artistic songs have shown a combination of Western artistic styles and traditional Chinese cultural characteristics in the stylistic techniques, which mark the artistic value of songs he has written. And his violin music is plaing him for many years of experience and teaching experience,more made important contributions for the development of the Chinese violin music of the 20th century. Chapter IV summarized in the overall characteristics and historical significance of music compositions by Andong He in Anti-Japanese War. This part of themes from the works of creative and artistic approach to face the three emotional music creation features of the overall summary, which pointed out that the Anti-Japanese War in his creative styles, content-rich form of music is new music in recent history a valuable asset The development of new music to make a significant contribution to the musicians should be recorded in history.
