Alex·Honneth, who is a famouse social researcher in contemporary Germany, came on history stage by his recognition theory .He is 7th chairman at the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt School and he is a key professor of Critical Theory in Frankfurt School thinking. His theory occupies central place in contemporary debates in social and political theory.German classic philosophy give Honneth of dialectics habit and sensitivity anthropology sight. Honneth's theory derectly derived from G·W·F·Hegel's early social philosophical work, and Hambermas gives Honnth an analysing framework of communication intersubjectivity. Third, I can observe the concept of recognition from contrasting between"identity"and"recognition". After that, I can explate the main content of recognition thought of Honneth. Then, I introduce the format of social recognition and internal motivation of society. At last, I analyse the recognition theory from Marx's point of view. Although recognition theory of Honneth dealing with challenges both theory and practices of the times faced by Critical Theory, and give our new angel to study Marx's theory ,amnong its systematization it also betrays some diffculties and weakness. There are also several deficiencies and limitations,we should take dialectic methods to study Honneth's thought ,maximizing its benefits for our society.
