As the highest standard of the east traditional aesthetics, artistic conception has being always canonized by many artists. It is very important that the artistic conception influences a lot of arts, especially poesy and painting. Then, what I want to say in this discourse is how the artistic conception help to the theatre.Although there are many interpretations about artistic conception, this discourse is based on the book <> by Wang Guowei.Certainly,"The Enjoyable Theatre"by Huang Zuolin and about"the national and realistic theatre"by Jiao Juyin and others research gave much summarization and inspiration to artistic conception for theatre. This discourse is based on theories by many theatre experts and combined with my opinion to explore how to create the artistic conception by director.
