Traditional Murals Comparison Of Its Contemporary Significance

In this paper,an attempt by the murals of Dunhuang Cave 57,"Beautiful Buddha" and Botticelli "The Birth of Venus," these two well-known comparison of classical painting,to explore the aesthetic differences between the traditional Chinese and Western murals,awareness of the East and West traditional values and contemporary significance of the environment.Such a comparative analysis of the use of research methods,observation of China and the West in the cultural background and aesthetic awareness of the similarities and differences at the level of contact and interaction;differences in subject matter content reflects the values of different cultural habits of change with the times;Westerners are good at summing up experience,rational analysis,the invention of a variety of murals of materials,attention to scientific research,study anatomy,perspective and lighting changes;the Chinese people focus on the impressionistic,vivid performance,less attention to the appearance of texture,texture characterization,emphasizing a strong symbol of the philosophy mean that highlights the essential characteristics of art.The use of dialogue,exchange and communication will allow us to more clearly understand the nature of the characteristics of Chinese and Western art,as well as the evolution of a tendency to develop superior.In April 2008 following Mr.Sun Jingbo to visit western Chinese art,I experience traditional art of the breadth and depth,and the Chinese have such a great tradition of exquisite art,which I should not get away for a long time.One hundred year of art education in China in accordance with the Western cultural model,we become a way of Western thinking.Faced with the strong impact of Western culture,I can not help but contrast the traditional Western concept of thinking of traditional Chinese culture and values of contemporary significance.Making use of the comparative study,we could learn the essence of traditional arts,understand our nation's traditional arts from a new perspective,and lay a solid foundation to study traditional arts and the spirit; also we carry forward the traditional arts,create a new era of artistic style,and convey the spirit of the times at an advantage.
