Britten Polyphonic Technique Research

Edward Benjamin Britten(1913—1976)is one of the greatest British composers in the 20th century, as well as a distinguished conductor, pianist, and social activist. Britten's music adopt other good qualities as well as based on tradition. Britten composed a lot of different types and styles works in his career. In all of these works, there are 9 Passacaglias in so much music works in all. There have oral and also instrumental, penetrate all his creative career. This paper studied on Britten's Passacaglia, especially on the theme"the artifice of Britten's Passacaglia"the Passacaglia's thematic format, textured structure, and the application of the fourth movement of the orchestra work. Our works try to provide some valuable guidance for the teaching and writing technologies of today's polyphony, specially on how to hair and innovation the traditional polyphony innovation technologies.
