This article, from the cultural philosophy perspective, systematically arranged and analyzed the theoretical origin and theoretical content of Cassirer's philosophy, and further analyzed and demonstrated its meaning and bound of cultural philosophy thinking. This article believes that the production of Cassirer's cultural philosophy has its profound theoretical origin. The production of his cultural philosophy thinking is directly influenced by Neo-Kantianism Marburg School and The Freiburg School, which embodies the critical method of Kant's philosophy and takes the cultural model of modern philosophical hermeneutics as its background. Based on the essence of human being and culture, his cultural philosophy revels that sign is the way of illustrate the world and explain the history. It also points out that myth, religion, language, art, history and science are all the cultural activities which resulted from human thinking system about sign. These activities define the range of human nature. That is to say, culture is the way of existence for human. The fact that Cassirer creates a formula for cultural philosophy marks the birth of cultural philosophy and the transform of western cultural philosophy. So, though the study of cultural philosophy, we could not only enrich the studying results of the history of cultural philosophy, but also exhibits the importance of Cassirer's cultural philosophy. To a greater means, it can also provide theory references for practical cultural establishment. Cassirer's cultural philosophy model made his philosophy changed from rational animadversion to cultural animadversion, but it also can't avoid escaping transcendental mentalism, and can't exceed Kant's transcendental animadverted philosophy in the end.
