As a special group of the ancient Chinese, the paladin affected every stratum for more than two thousand years. In Wei-Jin and the Northern -Southern Dynasties, social was in unrest. The despot set up independent regime by force of arms. A large number of heroes bid for state power. It was difficult for the people living. The authority of Confucianism declined. A number of despots who own their private arms, coveted the throne, and the throne moved frequently. All of these provided the appropriate soil for the paladin. In Wei-Jin and the Northern-Southern Dynasties, the development and growth of the paladin promoted the progress of history. The despot set up independent regime by force of arms in the late Han Dynasty. And then the satiation of tripartite confrontation was formed. In this period of the time, the paladins like Dong Zhuo, Cao Cao, Sun Quan, Liu Bei and others not only controlled the political situation, but also grasped the direction of history to some extent. The paladin based oneself upon justice and honest and played its due roles in the political arena. In the political situation that a number of armed groups competing for power, a large number of people became paladins. They not only changed the structure and composition of the paladin, but also because they had more political purposes than the folk paladins, the appearance of them changed the spiritual connotation of the paladin. The paladin also affected the upper classes ideologically. The period of Wei-Jin and the Northern-Southern Dynasties was a time that China's justice culture developed quickly which closely related to the chivalrous actions of paladins. There was too much thing that was worthwhile to explore, think and understand the chivalrous spirit shown by 'allegiance' and 'courage' of the paladin. Under the influence of it, there were many works on paladin themes appeared in the ancient Chinese literary works. Some chapters in the legendaries of Tang Dynasty and a number of chivalrous novels in Qing Dynasty are the prominent examples. Using the aesthetic values, the ideal personality, the cohesion of our nation which was embodied by the paladin, driving out evil and ushering in good, getting rid of those outmoded negative factors resolutely, was the correct attitude which we should adopt.
