This paper contains the following four parts:introduction, the main body (chapterⅠ, ChapterⅡ, ChapterⅢ), conclusions and references. In introduction, the author elaborates the reason for subject selection, the significance of the research, the summary and the research method. The main body states the concept of Buhekeshike's literatureand art and education with the principle line of Self-reliance. The principle of Self-reliance is the key product of Buhekeshike. Buhekexige thinks that revitalizing of the nation must be based on national traditions. The paper, divided into three parts, analyses the concept of Buhekexige's literature and education with the principle line of Self-reliance.ChapterⅠmakes a deep study of the three sections:Self-reliance from the viewpoints of historical and modern Mongolian writers, the core of Buhekeshike's national awareness and Self-reliance and explores its root.ChapterⅡsummarizes the principles of Self-reliance of Buhekeshike's literature and art and education and states his contribution to the national language, cultural transmission and translation of new terminology, putting forward that the principle of Self-reliance of Buhekeshike is relative, including concept of the elimination of dross in the national culture and absorption of advanced culture.ChapterⅢconcludes the principles of Self-reliance of Buhekeshike both in theory and practice. Although there is concept of the elimination of dross in the national culture and absorption of advanced culture in the concept of Buhekeshike's education, his thought is based on the principles of Self-reliance.Conclusion part summarizes the basic content of the paper and the main points.In short, this article expounds Buhekeshike's ideas on literature and art and education with the principle of Self-reliance, and explores Buhekeshike's concept on national culture and education in the modern society with the theme of innovation.
