In Lu Xun, the thoughts of reforming national character is one of the most external and the most basic ideas of its features and it is also the general task of social criticism and civilization criticism. What's more, as a soldier in the culture aspect, it is also the overall goal to fight for. In recent years, the study of Lu Xun's ideas on reforming the national character is not as important as that in the 80s and 90s, but it is still a major issue concerned by the academic. They are the economic, political and social reasons of it.
