Our current system of civil trials has been inefficient in dealing with the multiplying claims. Under these circumstances, quick adjustment of small claims becomes an essential and imperative task in order to meet the development of the economy and the society. To build up the system of quick adjustment of small claims is extremely helpful in ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of ordinary citizens.This thesis will elaborate the necessity to build up the system of quick adjustment for small claims based on the analysis of the current court trials. The thesis will also discuss the feasibility of the system and the problems confronted by comparing with other small claim adjustment procedures. Finally, the thesis will put forward the strategies and specific methods in the establishment of the system.The thesis will be divided into four parts.Part one covers the overview of current trails of small claims, its limitations and potential problems. Meanwhile, the author points out the necessity of establishing procedures for the trials of small claims.In the second part, the author will analyze the feasibility of establishing small claim procedures and discuss the basic requirements for building up the procedures.In the third part, the successful examples in Taiwan province and abroad will be presented, giving reference and inspiration to the establishment of our system.Part four is the conclusion part of the thesis; the author will put forward the strategies available and the specific methods in building up the procedures here in China, with the purpose of promoting the development of our civil trial procedures.
