The Double Reform Of Marx 's Practical Thought And Its Contemporary Significance

The practical philosophy of Marx is a fundamental and main issue in our nationaland foreign researchers for Marx. There has been many researchers and discussions onthis issue, that is to say, there has been no coincident conclusion up to now, referring tothe conception of practice, its position and its meaning. We should think about theseissues not only in the scope of practice, but also in the scope of whole thinking of Marx,including the position of Marxian reformation and contemporary meaning. Thereforewe can see that practice is an important problem, which represents the complication ofpractice itself and even refers to the answer to other relevant questions.This thesis pays attention to practice based on the meaning mentioned above andtries to understand the reformation of Marx. This reformation firstly means transcendingthe basic foundation of modern western metaphysics, which makes the Marxianphilosophy be contemporary one, not modern one in any sense. We shouldn’t regardMarxian philosophy as modern metaphysics. Secondly, Marxian reformation is a kind ofontology reformation which is in the sense of survival. It’s because that we are nottalking about the factors of universe and human beings in the sense of constructions,what we are referring to are the essence and meaning of our universe and our own.Finally, the Marxian reformation doesn’t aim at forming still truth, it aims at creatingreal human being and real history. Marx believes that pure ideology reform is a mythwhich can’t touch the reality. The task of philosophy is not explaining the world, it’schanging the world, in another word, which means creating the reality of history. If weunderstand this reform based on the practice, we will understand the new materialismand historical materialism and ensure the contemporary meaning and value of Marxism,which is actually our purpose in this thesis.
