The Connection Mechanism Of County Political Representatives And Its Overall Characteristics

This article’s object of study is county-level political representation. It concentrates on Dianjiang County of Chongqing, attempts to carry out a preliminary discussion of the basic characteristic of Chinese-style representative and discusses the variation of related concepts. The article takes the linking mechanism with the masses in Dianjiang County of Chongqing for example, points out the operating dilemma and path choice of county-level political representation in the current Chinese political practice, summarizes the basic characteristic of Chinese-style representative from the operation of representative mechanism in Chinese politics, and underlines the significance of analyzing the merit and disadvantage of Chinese-style representative and the dilemma and solution of county-level political representation for the top design of system and the modernization of national governance.The article is divided into five sections. Section 1 simply analyses the study of the concepts and theories of “representative”, and makes some explanation on the background, purposes and significance of research. Section 2 mainly makes a detailed analysis of the linking mechanism with the masses in Dianjiang County of Chongqing as the counterpoint in political practice and summarizes the actions of representatives in the mechanism innovation. Section 3 focuses on the operating dilemma and path choice of county-level political representation. Section 4 sums up the main traits of representatives in Chinese context from finding, raising and solving practical political problems. Section 5 bases on the review and summary, and puts forward some problems and directions for further Study.
