A Study On Humanistic Concern In Ideological And Political Education Of Civil Servants In China

The 18 th Party Congress government work reports emphasized that we should strengthen and improve ideological and political work, pay much attention to humanistic care and psychological counseling; foster self-esteem, rational, peaceful and positive social attitude. It means that under the new situation, our party and government is eager to improve the ideological and political work which is filled with a sense of urgency and crisis. It tells us the humanistic care and psychological counseling plays an important role in ideological and political education and we need to emphasis the importance of it in ideological and political education.The social and environmental factors are changing, combined with the traditional ideological and political education method— "instill" and the traditional practices of "social value" as well,which led to the current lack of humanistic care in ideological and political education of civil servants. Because the psychological crisis of the civil servants are lack of counseling, the civil servants couldn’t assume their responsibilities, which is the cause of social instability. According to the domestic and overseas research of this subject, this paper mainly analyzes the professional characteristics of the civil service and the condition of ideological and political education of civil servants. The author tries to figure out the proper meaning of humanistic care in the ideological and political education, and at the same time to build up a system to meet the social needs and promote the comprehensive development of the ideological and political education of civil servants. Hopefully this paper will provide a useful reference for ideological and political education of civil servants.
