A Probe Into Qu Qiubai 's Marxist Communication

In this paper, the main research focuses on Qu Qiubai’s Marxism dissemination activities, by examining the historical context and Qu Qiubai’s early ideas, this paper will explain why Qu would become a Marxist, and how he spread the Marxism in many different ways after he had become a Marxist.First of all, my research will argue that Qu’s miserable life of his early years had brought the proletarian identity to him,and three years’ lone life in Beijing made him an anarchist. Due to the sudden outbreak of the May Fourth Movement, he turned to a radical democrat, and during the time when he ran the democratic newspaper called "New Society" Qu had already showed his preference toward Marxism Finally as a reporter in Russia, he experienced two years’socialism construction in Moscow which transformed him into a Marxist completely.One’s thoughts always guide his actions. By exploring the origins of Qu’s thoughts, the history of Qu Qiubai’s Marxism dissemination activities will be more clear. In National Revolution,he began to edit "New Youth" and "Bloodshed Daily",spreading Chinese Marxism Revolution concept.In the 1930s, he led the League of Leftist Writers in Shanghai, opening a new field in the propagation of Marxism Art, which became an important supplement to the propagation of the Marxism. In the Soviet Area, inspiring the Marxism views in news, he rise a lot ideas on the reform of "Red China" and carried out this ideas,which gain great success. It had proved and spread Marx Marxism Journalism eloquently.Through the analysis and investigation of Qu’s Marxism dissemination activities,my research finally draws the conclusion, the Confucian thought of "internal saints and external kings" is the core part of Qu Qiubai’s theories, which dichotomized his ideas of communication. The dualistic thought in his activities not only embodies the Confucian thought of "restraining", but also contains the concept of "sublation"in Marxism, and this has become a major contradiction in Qu’s dissemination activities. So we must sublate the contradiction by using different methods such as newspapers, debates to spread the Marxism Qu Qiubai had devoted his whole life in disseminating Marxism and made important contributions to the localization and population of Marxism in China and his idea had become an important source of Maoism finally.
