In recent years, due to the continuous development of auto industry in China, several major domestic automobile exhibitions are drawing a degree of public ‘attentions. As one of the highlights in these shows, car models’ dresses and behaviors has become a widely discussed topic from time to time. However, for car models, their exposed dresses and seductive behaviors are just considered a “custom” problem. Even if these manners are destructive to public morals, the law only can be at a loss what to do. In this case, the Shanghai auto show is going to cancel car models. But the models as the common forms of advertising in the automobile industry is widely used in the whole world, it is clearly unadvisable to our car business to abolish this historic and commercial advertising form. From the practical sense, automobile exhibition is actually advertising means to promote their own new cars for automobile enterprises and the models are advertising spokesmen at those shows. Therefore, models’ behaviors and dresses should be incorporated into the management of advertising related laws. It is true an effective solution to regulate car models’ manners with related laws, which is promoting the advertising form increasing specialization and standardization. At present, the special laws and regulations of our country have not yet promulgated to rule the car models’ behaviors problems. However the problems of models’ behaviors are becoming more and more prominent, we could not formulate effective and reason able laws and regulations in a short period of time. Since the car model is a special form of advertise, then the relevant legal provisions of "The advertisement law", "The advertising management regulations", “The implementing rules of advertising management regulations” and “The advertisement examination standards of the State Administration for Industry and commerce” can be utilized to regulate behaviors of car model.Based on the analysis of advertising related concepts, this paper consider that automobile exhibition is actually a special advertising means to promote new cars for automobile enterprises and the models are advertising spokesmen at those shows. From this point of view, I discuss the reasons why automobile exhibition cann’t simply cancel car models after analyzing automobile models’ problems existing in our country. Then I debate the problem of the related principle of advertisement law regulating automobile models. On this basis, I summarize some related advertising laws and clauses which can be used to regulate the automobile models’ behavior problems. At the same time, I have a careful analysis about the applicability of those provisions and how to use them in the real live. So far, there were very few people involved in these aspects in their academic works in our country, this is the innovation of this paper.After the analysis of reality and law theory about automobile models’ problems, I draw a conclusion is that we cann’t eliminate models in some automobile shows, but to rely on the principles of law and regulations carry out a lawful, reasonable and effective regulation. Only this circumstance can conform to domestic automobile industry’ development at the present stage, meanwhile, can meet the demand of promoting our laws and regulations’ improvement.
