A Study On The Influencing Factors Of Residents' Participation In Volunteer Service From The Perspective Of Community Governance

Encourage residents to participate in community volunteer activities is an important means to improve the community governance, community volunteer activities carried out without the active participation of community residents and residents only from their own autonomy participation behavior intentions, can we truly achieve the goal of community harmony. Community service is in the exploratory stage in our country, in the process of practice development still exist some problems. Government can offer residents of community service cannot meet the growing demand, development of non-governmental organizations is inadequate to some extent, hindered the development of community service.To improve community governance, need from the perspective of residents participation, understand the community residents to participate in volunteer service in the process of the problems and influencing factors.Based on the theory of community governance, voluntary failure theory as the theoretical basis, from the community residents (including has been involved in, and was not involved in the residents of the community volunteer service), through the interview method and questionnaire method, hypothesis and test analysis method to find problems of community residents to participate in volunteer service, from the government, the voluntary organizations and residents own three aspects to study the influence factors of willingness and behavior of the community volunteer service and carefully analyze the reasons, from the Angle of community governance, put forward the suggestion that promote community residents to participate in volunteer service.Combining with Shanghai L community questionnaire survey and interviews, the resulting data descriptive, correlation and Logistic regression analysis, further validated before scholar’s research conclusion:(1) urban residents participate in community volunteer service high intention but total level is low;(2) age and willingness and behavior of residents to participate in community volunteer service has significant relationship;(2) personal income level and the behavior of the residents participate in community volunteer service has significant relationship. In addition, in this paper, the following conclusions:(1) the willingness and behavior of residents’ participation in community volunteer service by the thought of time, energy, altruism of individual factors;(2) the willingness and behavior of residents’ participation in community volunteer service by the volunteer efforts in publicity and mobilization, the attraction of the community volunteer activities, policy guidance and support from her family’s external factors;(3) the community volunteer service is voluntary failure phenomenon. Finally, from the perspective of community governance, proposed to improve the residents participate in community volunteer service activities.
