In 1999, officially the qijiang count hongqiao collapse case will witness a word into the public eye. Since then, the judicial practice unceasingly to the witness to try to apply, because the system of witness against bribery crime cases, encourage the briber actively to testify in such aspects as optimizing the use of judicial resources and has a positive effect. But so far, our country has not yet establishing the system of witness, in contrast, Britain, the United States, Germany and other countries, mostly established the system. These countries, although the process of establishing the system of witness twists and turns, but are almost always revolve around the principle of opposition to forced self-incrimination in trial and error, and accumulated considerable experience and lessons, for the introduction of witness system in China provides reference and learning. The new "criminal procedural law" in China will oppose forced self-incrimination principle into the law, although the system is not perfect enough, but now has initially introduced the theoretical basis of witness system, to the establishment of the witness system was a big step closer. Good try in practice at the same time also provides empirical support for the introduction of the system. The use of witness system will break the limitations of traditional charged with a crime in our country, improve judicial efficiency, judicial organs means of evidence collection. In the introduction of witness system in our country should choose a reasonable design scheme of the finite crime immunity model, at the same time clear witness criminal liability waiver applicable scope, conditions, etc., to perfect supporting measures to guarantee smooth operation of the witness system in our country.
