Problems And Countermeasures Of County - Level Government Supervision Mechanism In China

County government is a relatively complete administrative organization which the central government set up for the governance of the village. The county government plays an irreplaceable role in the integrating urban and rural development, solving “Three Rural Issues” and maintaining social stability as a whole. The reformation of county government is an important part of the current administrative reform. County administrative supervision mechanism is also an indispensable part of county administrative system, which plays an important role in monitoring the operation of county government power and improving the administrative efficiency. But there are some problems in the design and operation. In recent years, the development of economy, politics and society has formed a certain challenge to the present administrative supervision mechanism. Therefore, it is urgent and necessary to improve and innovate the supervision mechanism of county government.In this paper, the overall structure of the county administrative supervision mechanism is described, the existing problems are analyzed thoroughly. Then, it analyzes the experience and enlightenment of the supervision of the county government in ancient China and developed countries. Finally, it puts forward some countermeasures to improve the supervision mechanism of county government. The author hopes that this research can provide some references for the construction of administrative supervision mechanism at the county level in our country at present.
