As is known to all, China has come into a society of old libation. The number and proportion of older persons is growing rapidly, and increasing numbers of people elect to work away from home. This leads to a series of old age empty-nest families.. Therefore, health monitoring for old man has come to more attention. How can we scientifically and effectively avoid this kind of tragedy has become a prominent social question.In this paper, a system of health mobile monitoring for elderly is presented. It cannot only detect the old man’s body attitude information and physiological parameters, also do alarm and report GPS location to the care center while an exception occurs, so prompt treats and cures can be attained in short time and health threat accidents reduces.The monitoring system includes care center and mobile monitoring terminal. Mobile monitoring terminal is based on embedded technology, by using new MEMS sensor MPU6050, the old man’s body attitude information can be collected and be disposed by Kalman filtering to tell if this man is in fallen state. Simultaneously, the terminal can accomplish the acquisition of ECG, heart rate and GPS location. All the information above will be sended to care center by GRPS. Care center can not only realize the query of information, also implement the information interaction with mobile monitoring terminal.The functional testing result shows that the system can collect physiological signal of elders to tell whether the man is fall down or not. And automatically confirm the zone portion which inquirer request through the GPS chip. To some extent, this monitoring system can relief their relatives’psychological stress and improve their life quality.
