| Based on a review of the sustainable development in China, this paper conducts a theoretical analysis and a thorough study of the progress of sustainable development and puts forward the strategic targets for sustainable development in highway transportation. The author in the paper also analyzes the existing problems in the implementation of the strategic targets, gives his suggestions for the realization of the targets and comes up with a set of system for the evaluation of the sustainable development in highway transportation. |
