Lake Island Tourism Development And Planning - For Example, Detailed Regulations To The Hunan Zixing Tusita Island Tourism Development

Tourism has developed into the biggest industry and the environmental problem of tourism resources deterioration involved in its development are more and more conscious, which are caused by unsuccessful planning and management. So, more emphasis is needed on how to made maximum economic benefits by exploiting present and potential tourism resources effectively and achier the sustainable development. Tourism needs careful initial planning is the precious experience from the tourism developing process.Firstly, the connotation, components and types of tourism planning are analyzed. Then, this paper reviews the domestic and abroad research process of tourism planning, summarizes the main planning methods and prospects the developing tendency of tourism planning.The resource of lake island is abundant in China. But so far, the study on the planning of its exploitation is on the initial stage. Based on the fundamental theories of tourism planning, the geographic features of the lake islands, the specific properties of ecoenvironment and tourism resource, the author puts forward the methods, principle, procedure and contents of its planning, which is elaborated and utilized in the tourism planning and designing of Doushuai island, Zixin City, Hunan.
