Marketing is a key job of an enterprise, which will be a decisive lhctor to tue existence and development of the enterprise. Along with the growing senses of protecting forest worldwide, particle board industry has got a rapid development and the particle board products are widely used as a replacement of wood in indoor decoration, omce furniture and building for its fine feature of reprocessing and the materials obtained from buds, cotton and wheat sticks, as well as artificial speedy woods. In 21~ century, Shouguang Wood-based Panel Plant is facing a new challenge from market. If they continue to follow the old marketing theories and concept, they could not face the serious market competition. The article has discussed the theories of competitive and marketing strateny available for the plant upon an analysis to the conditions of marketing of Shouguang Wood-based Panel Plant, also the markets at borne and abroad, trends of demand and status of competition in the line and a full analysis on internal Strength and Weakness, external Opportunity and Threat. Measures have been provided to change the theories of marketing and improve the ways of sales, promotion, pricing, etc. with a view to strengthen the ability of marketing and competition power.
