As social economy developing rapidly in our times, the entrepreneur-cells of social economy-are faced with, internal and external environment reserving both opportunities and challenges. As the conversion of tobacco industry from seller-oriented into buyer-oriented industry, and the accession of WTO, the tobacco industrial entrepreneurs faces with international trade and competition. From the angle of entrepreneurs, on a position of strategic level this article at first analyses the status quo of tobacco industry at home, and abroad, the features and trends of international cigarette market, and expounds the opportunities and challenges of Chinese. tobacco industry after the accession of WTO. Then choosing YUNNAN HONGTA Groups, SHANGHAI Tobacco Groups, SHANGSHA Cigarette Industry, Philip Morris as samples, the thesis makes analysis of market competition of national and international tobacco industrial entrepreneurs, dissects carefully about advantages and disadvantages of rival entrepreneurs by factors of economic index, product-market situation, organization constructure.As last, this article puts forward concrete countermeasures (1)accelerating human resources developing to model high-quality talents for strategic regulation; (2)developing famous-brand strategic and promote international competition; (3) implementing quality-prospering strategic to ensure the implementation of famous-brand strategic;(4) implementing innovation strategic and enhance core competitive ability of the entrepreneur.
