In 1993, Professor Hammer and Mr. Jampy wrote the book named eengineering Enterprises which built a landmark for the enterprise change in the world and made the Business Process Reengineering flourishing. BPR (Business Process Reengineering) is regarded as another revolution of business management and TQM (Total Quality Management) is thought as the first one. While the thought of BPR is also an organization designing thought that is worth being referred by senior managers in companies. In the thought, the stream of value is the core of operation, the roject or ask of operation process is the base of organization designing and the eam is the essential unit of organization. Therefore, it changes the organization rules based on Labor Specification radically and wipes off the traditional limit of functional departments and changes the management style. The dissertation uses some methods such as theory analysis, case study, qualitative and quantitative method to make the research on the content and effect of organization change in BPR and draw some conclusions, which are valuable for the managers in companies. The dissertation is divided into five parts: the first part introduces chiefly the BPR background, concept, content and sets forth its influence to enterprises; the second one summarizes chiefly the organization theory and organization change theory; the third one points out the effect and character of organization chang in BPR; the fourth one puts forward the specific content of organization change in BPR; the fifth one illustrates the opinions brought forward in the dissertation by the case study of the Developing Area Filial of Dalian Electric Power Construction Company.
