Large-scale Mechanized Construction Enterprise Project Cost Control

Cost is the cornerstone for an enterprise of maximizing profit, improving competition power and increasing the potential to struggle against risk. Currently, the construction market is extremely not normative, and because of the huge size many construction projects distributing everywhere, the huge mechanization construction corporates are puzzled by the questions on controlling cost, namely project cost. Among these questions are weak consciousness of cost managing, no sanity in cost-controlling sYstem, no clear controlling duty, measures behind the time, partial controlling process, ignorance of costs rising from time limit for a project, quality and the capital cost. Then, according to the theories of information, system and controlling, the author detailed the way and material measures against these problems. The measures include selecting proper controlling model of cost, improving the consciousness of cost, restructuring cost-control system, regulating the contents of cost that should be controlled, choosing the proper measures for every cost item and every point at the process of cost occurring, improving the basic situations of cost control and so on. In the last part of the theses, the author cites the application of Value Engineer in cost-control.
