This thesis systematically analyzes the fight against Taiwan issue between China and the United States in the post cold war , explores the ways of solving Taiwan issue, and calculates the tendency of fight of Taiwan issue.Among various factors that influence Sino-US relations, the Taiwan issue is of particular importance. In the post-cold war era, because of the United States' intention to maintain his leadership in the world , the U.S. fastened his paces to contain China by taking of Taiwan issue.The fight against Taiwan issue between China and the U.S. focuses on three aspects: "Taiwan Independence"; One-China principle; and Taiwan Strait military security.It is Chinese government and people's long-cherished wish to achieve national reunification. There are three ways to attain the goal which is peace, force or reunification without force. China won't renounce the use of force against Taiwan , but will try his best to solve Taiwan issue by means of peace.Obstructing China's reunification, maintaining the status quo is the U.S.' policy toward Taiwan issue, it won't change in a short time. The fight against Taiwan issue between China and the United States will continue and has a tendency of sharpening gradually.
