On The International Monetary System Reform - The Reconstruction Of The International Gold Standard

International monetary system is the key of international finance and the basis of international monetary relationship. The reformation of international monetary system is of great importance because of its effect on international trade, international investment and the development of world economic. This thesis mainly focuses on the reformation of international monetary system.In this thesis, the malpractice of the existing international monetary system is discussed to show the necessity of reformation. Meanwhile existing projects of reformation are reviewed. Based on the analysis of the reasons of the breakdown of the former international gold standard, the possibility of re-building international gold standard is being discussed and related proposals proposed.
