Construction Project Quality Management Studies

The 21st century is a century with focus on quality. The concept of quality management has been greatly extended. In the same time, some problems appear in the execution of TQM so that the theory and method of it must have great advancement in the 21st century. On the basis of studying the exsiting problems in our country's TQM, some research on how to improve construction project quality management in our country has been done form three aspects of quality planning, quality assurance and quality control. Some new concepts and corresponding measures have been presented in this paper in order to strengthen quality supervision and quality control in the whole course of construction project against various problems of construction project quality managemnt in China. The construction technology management, quality supervision and production management are main points in the construction management. In this paper, some advice is given on how to solve any one respect of the three mentioned above and how to deal with the relation among the three. Also, the structure of quality information system based on intranet is studied. Then, the framework of the system and its function are proposed and the other things on the system such as system exploitation methods are studied. In a word, this paper gives some feasible methods to improve quality management.
