| The theory of industrial structure is a practical economic theory deals with the proportionate relationships between different economic sectors. The purpose of the study is to optimize the industrial structure and develop the economy.Yuxi, home of Yuxi Hongta Tobacco (Group) Co. Ltd Yunnan, over-depended on tobacco industry in its history. It is now influenced by the decrease in tobacco production. How to confront the opportunities and challenges becomes a very urgent problem to the government of Yuxi City and Yunnan Province.The thesis is divided into five chapters. Chapter one is about the theory of development of the industrial structure. Chapter two introduces the present state of the industrial structure of Yunnan and China. Chapter three aims to find out the advantages and disadvantages of Yuxi's industrial structure. Chapter four discusses the opportunities and challenges to Yuxi. Chapter five makes an analysis of the way of adjustment.This thesis, on the base of completed analysis of Yuxi's industrial structure, tries to provide some suggested strategies. |
