Venture Capital And China's Countermeasures Research

Venture Capital (VC) blazes new trails for fostering hi-tech enterprises. In Europe and the United States, VC has become one of the most supportive financial resources for the development of hi-tech enterprises which in return constitute a very important part of the countries' economy. This thesis elaborates the theory and practice of VC and explores the models for the development of VC in China.Catering to hi-tech enterprises, VC has been gradually developed into an innovative investment arrangement under the interaction of new technology and financial innovation. VC has its own particular rules from the point of view of both players and watchdogs and the peculiarity makes it an extremely important component of the modern financial system.This thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter defines VC and expounds its origin, functions, and models. The second chapter elaborates the practice and management of VCs and its significant role in every phase of the growth of hi-tech enterprises; besides, it also sets forth the organizations and relevant legal structures of VCs. On the basis of the above two chapters, the third chapter analyzes the status of VCs in China and brings forward the models for China's VC development.
