The international project market is competitive at present. The chance of bidding success for Chinese companies do not operate effectively.Based on the situation of competitive bidding which is applied widely, this thesis provide a few practicable decision methods of tendering and pricing to help the Chinese construction companies to bid effectively during their performance. First this thesis supplies that the accuracy of cost estimate and the level of mark-up are important in the bidding process by analyzing the components of bid price and the facts that affect bidding success .Then this thesis presents five tendering decision methods, one of which is the fussy compositive method. This method quantifies the unclear information and provide a subjective tendering decision. For the random and fuzzy of the pricing, this thesis presents probability model based on the statistics theory and strategy model based on the fuzzy set theory respectfully. The strategy model, which is more applicable, includes more objectives in bidding and more facts that affect the mark-up. What's more, this thesis also presents several project case to identify the use of the model. This thesis concludes that the strategy model is better than the probability model by comparing them. |
