The Strategic Adjustment Of China's Agricultural Structure In The Context Of Economic Globalization

From more than twenty years' reform and develop, Chinese agriculture and rural economy has entered into a new stage. In this stage, adjusting agriculture structure is very meaningful for promoting peasant's revenue and accelerate the development of agriculture. Now the trend of economic globalization intensifies. Especially with China entry to WTO, the influence of economic globalization will become stronger. We must take this background into consideration. This paper studies the influence of economic globalization on adjusting agriculture structure and how to adjust agriculture at the background of economic globalization.The paper consists of three parts. The first part discusses the meaning of adjusting agriculture structure, reviews the changing process of our country' agriculture structure, and then presents the questions in agriculture structure. The second part focuses on the influence of economic globalization. Firstly, it simply discuses the characteristic of economic globalization, and then analysis what opportunities and challenges of economic globalization brings to adjusting agriculture structure from the sight of China entry to WTO. In the end, it discusses the new characteristic of adjusting agriculture structure. The third part studies how to adjust agriculture structure effectively at the background of economic globalization.
