State And Civil Society Perspective Modern Political Civilization,

This article sets out with the basic theory of political state and civil society, for the research of connotation and characteristic of modern political civilization and proceeding the problem in practice. Political state is a widespread realm, on the contrary, civil society is a special realm. The tendency of this two realm will be that political state returns the power which originally belongs to civil society to society itself. This is the basic standpoint in theory of political state and civil society, and it is described scientifically by Carl.Marx. From this theory, the research of the evolution and its related problem of modern political civilization, especially important position of democracy and rule of law in modern political civilization, and its problem and difficulty in practice, will be most theoretically valuable.Political civilization is so-called as the living habitual total in politics by people for maintaining a stable social order in an interactive process between political state and civil society. Modem political civilization is the political living habitual total of people based of the basic principle and system of democracy and rule of law. To my own think, democracy is a core content about modern political civilization and rule of law is a modern political civilized marking. This article selected democracy and rule of law as the two angles for the research. But this selection is not to think that modern political civilization is equal to democracy or rule of law. The modern political civilization is a complicated system, so that thinking modern political civilization purely same as a certain aspect of political system is false. Whether having theoretical conviction by selecting democracy and rule of law as research points or not, writer will discuss this problem from two aspects which are differentiations between ancient democracy and modern democracy and the important functions of democracy and rule of law in modem society.Making sure the foundation of the studying angles composed of democracy and rule of law, this article will discuss the catholicity of modern political civilization from the interactive process between political state and civil society.
