Northeastern Region Status Quo And Enhance The Competitiveness Of Foreign Trade On The Analysis

With the enhancement of economic globalization, economic links of different countries are closer and closer. It has not only great theoretical meanings, but also great realistic meanings on how to improve the foreign trade competitiveness of a country or a region in order to participate the international division rationally, utilize domestic and foreign "two resources, two markets" fully, play the role of "economic growth engine ".The Northeast of China has the huge masses, abundant resources, and rich economic foundation. It is always the important agriculture base and heavy industry base, which has made immortal contribution to the economic construction of the whole country. But after the reform and opening-up, the speed of the foreign trade competitiveness to promote is not very fast: not only slower than the coastal developed provinces, but also slower than average level of the whole country, which weakened the induced effect on the economic growth. Since December 11, 2001, China has become one of the members of World Trade Organization (WTO) formally, which means that the reform and opening-up of China has entered a brand-new developing stage. It is the key problem in the Northeast that needs to solve on how to expands foreign trade turnover, improve the structure of the export commodities, raise the foreign trade competitiveness in order to drive economic development in the new round market competition.This paper is divided into foreword and four parts. Foreword part mainly introduces the general condition in the Northeast of China, on the whole, the definition of foreign trade competitiveness and the reason for selecting this subject. The first part is to study the theoretical foundation of the foreign trade competitiveness, which describes the resource of foreign trade competitiveness in the international trade theory, the impact of FDI theory to foreign trade competitiveness and the evaluation index system of foreign trade competitiveness. The second part is to make a concreteanalysis of current situation of the development of foreign trade competitiveness of the Northeast. Using foreign trade evaluation index of competitiveness, we conclude that after the reform and opening-up, the foreign trade competitiveness of the Northeast has been promoted, but integral level is still week .1 analyze the reason. The third part describes the impact on foreign trade competitiveness of the Northeast in positive and passive respects, after China's accession to the WTO. The fourth part puts forward the concrete countermeasure, in order to give some consultatory suggestion on how to promote the foreign trade competitiveness of the Northeast.
