Witb the tendency of airport commercialization, more and more advanced airports succeeded in applying the commercialization strategy, and some domestic airports began to attempt it in recent years. Xi'an Xianyang International Airport is one of the ten largest airports, and its annual throughput has exceeded four million passengers in 2001. The huge passenger-flow brings a potential commercial market.Because airport provides public product, the average industry profit is very low. With the civil aviation reforming, the government allowance will be cut down. In addition, the new terminal building will be put into production in 2003, and the cost of enterprise operation will increase. In the face of so many influence, the enterprise should apply the commercialization strategy , and seek a new mode to increase the income and profit.The commercialization strategy consists of commercial resource operating and the product innovating. To apply the strategy successfully, the enterprise should change the direct operation mode to administration mode, and change the guarantee mode to commercial mode.The airport retail tactic is a important part to the commercial strategy. How to display the commercial facilities , how to design the merchandise category and how to price are studied in the paper., and it's very useful to enhance the airport's commercial value .
