The Operation Of The Financial Asset Management Companies In China

It had been more than three years since the Asset Management Corporation (AMC) came into existence. In China, the purpose of AMC is to peel off bad assets from four state owned commercial banks. AMC deal with bad assets by using operation and law instruments and policy measures in order to save bad assets from damage as can as possible, reduce expense, keep away from financial risks and promote the reform of state owned commercial banks and SOE.The article was divided into four chapters besides the preface. First, the author made a short summarize of AMC, and then discussed the background, cause and important meaning of the establishment of AMC. In second chapter, the experience and lessons of bad assets' disposal in some representational country such as USA, Japan and Korea was analyzed. Thirdly, the author mostly made a research of AMC's realistic operation, and then some resolve was analyzed. In fourth chapter, the author put forward the resolve of bank's bad assets, and then, after researching AMC's future operation, the author brought forward an exit mechanism after the bad assets had been done with. The author also advanced that AMC and state owned commercial banks may come into an amalgamation in order to achieve a financial syncretic management.
