This thesis adopted diachronic research approaches, filed and analyzed the research material from Xunzii's literature and the thoughts related, systematically expounded Xunzi's humanity management thoughts, encouragement behavior thoughts and organizational behavior thoughts in terms of management psychology. It also expatiated on the worthiness of Xunzi's thoughts in our modern business administration. In humanity management, Xunzi proposed the idea of "evil-nature"-human nature is evil, with a false "good" appearance. Xunzi thought, people were apt to disobeying moral modes when pursuing interests, .since human instincts were evil. The management system will lose control unless there existed appropriate management measures to limit human desires. Therefore, rulers must set certain moral criteria and give proper direction to common people and make them worship good and follow good. Only in this way can they administer the country well. Xunzi regarded satisfying people's basic needs as the first element of management and proposed the policies of "saving expenses thus making people rich" and "getting rich enough so as to raise people". In humanity management, Xunzi pointed out, on the natural structure of human nature, people came out the same. The difference between people lay in the social structure of humanity. This transformation course of humanity from natural structure to social structure was the course that human nature was moulded and the goodwill were cultivated.Xunzi's thoughts on encouragement were made up of three parts: (1) encouragement of example. Xunzi pointed that leaders should be examples and should be convinced by others. According to this, dissertation on leaderHIbehaviors was derived. (2)encouragement of advocating virtuous people. Xunzi emphasized that while selecting virtuous people, no notice should be taken to their family status, whether they were rich or poor, gentle or simple. Everyone should be taken equal when ability was concerned. Common people could become generals and ministers too. Besides, Xunzi still thought people acquired their ability through their studies; (3) rewards and punishments encouragement. Xunzi believed, "if awards didn't work, virtuous people couldn't be found; if punishment didn't work, unworthy people couldn't be discovered. So he advocated being strict and fair in meting out rewards and punishments in management. (4) encouragement of loving people and benefiting people. XunzZi thought common people formed the basis of a country, so he maintained rulers love people and benefit people, and he objected to rulers' amassing of riches, ignoring common people's interests.Xunzi's thoughts on organizational behavior fell into three parts: "group", "division" and "justice". It seemed to Xunzi that the reason that mankind was superior to other living beings lay in mankind's social nature-"group", namely, people could form certain organization and could live organically, "division" referred to institutional frameworks that were already formed, which could be divided into social rank framework, social career framework and state administration institutions. Human society was not only the aggregation of groups, but also had self-conscious organizational forms. It was marked by the set of self-conscious codes of conducts between people in this organization, that is, "justice".Xunzi's management psychology theory has positive realistic meanings to our business administration nowadays. First, this theory can raise people's desire, give people what they require, thus promoting working staff's enthusiasm. Xunzi said, "People are born with desires". So administrators mustn't ignore this common physiological demands. They should make thebest use of the situation and excite people's enthusiasm. Secondly, this theory can provide the principle of choosing the right person and set up a good mechanism of employing the right person. Xunzi paid attention to the choosing and using of talents. He believed, if rulers respected talents and put the virtuous people in a...
