Laid-off Employment And Social Security Reform Thinking

The employment situation in China has become worse since 90's of last century. After analyzing historical and institutional reasons of large-scale unemployment, such as Xia Gang phenomena, this paper tries to discuss the way of enlarging employment and stimulating re-employed. Because the essential solution of this problem should be employment boosting, population control, and meanwhile fabricate comparatively complete socialwelfare system to soothe the social impact caused by large-scaleunemployment. These two inseparable aspects complement each other to smooth the negative impacts of social transformation.
