My essay proceeds from the definition of the traveling products, focuses on the design and development of the traveling products in a highly systematic way and I apply my research result to the developing of the Zhongshan Ancient Town in Jiangjin. To be more concrete, the essay is composed of 3 parts. Namely, firstly, it deals with traveling products and its systematicness. Three arguments on the definition of the traveling resources in the circles of the tourism are discussed, six fixed features of the traveling products are doubted and a new understanding about traveling resources is presented in it. On the ground of this, I make a systematic analysis on the traveling products , expound the systematicness of the traveling products and analyze the systematic structure of the traveling products and the structure of the system of the traveling products in detail from different aspects, which back up my following research in theory. Secondly, based on the general theory on the design and developing the traveling products, I stress my research on the theory and mode of a traveling site's design and its development with an approach of systematic analysis. In this part, the concept, the content, the principles, the process of a target traveling site is stated out. Also the developing of a traveling site is considered as a complex system, still whose components are dealt with. And in addition, the procedures of how to design and develop a traveling site are brought forward via the method of systems engineering. Thirdly, I put my research into practice. In this part I research result is put into practice in the designing and developing Zhongshan Ancient Town.
