Sun Yat-sen was not only a great pioneer but also a prominent theorist of Chinese democratic revolution. Especially the political ethical thought that formed in his practice of revolution affected the creation of the modern democratic politics. It also has a great influence on the progress of the democracy. Related studies have been made on his political ethical thought, however, the systematic study was not formed. Based on the previous research, this article tries to make a systematic study of Sun Yat-sen's political ethical thought.This paper consists of five parts. It describes Sun Yat-sen's political ethical thought's emergence, development and basic character. Furthermore, it discusses the basis of the theory. The political principle of his thought is "the right belongs to people". His thought was developed by the way of the system and the psychology and ideology building. The last is the evaluation of Sun Yat-sen's political ethical thoughts. In order to treat his thought properly , attention should be paid on the thoughts' limitation as well as its value to the contemporary world.This article, through analysis and study on Sun Yat-sen's political ethical thought, is trying to provide beneficial reference to "build socialism political civilization" and solve the issues emerged from the society and the international relations.
